what happened to it? they seem to have made it work, why didnt it ever release? the only thing i can find on the internet is [this exodus article](https://www.exodus.com/news/dogethereum-dogethereum-bridge/#head4), which says that it was supposed to release when etherum went over 400 dollars, which it seems to have acheived consider the current price is $1266.
There are a couple of bridges, and have been for a long time now.
But nobody uses them, because, well, why would you? 🤷♂️

There is also the wDOGE bridge (Doge-Eth) that was released in late 2022 by Bluepepper [https://www.wdoge.tech/order-book.php](https://www.wdoge.tech/order-book.php). But as Fulvio says they are not really used. My main issue is that you basically convert your native Doge to a token, when you could simply just swap out your Doge for ETH on a DEX like Thorchain if you want to mess about on the ETH chain
I don’t know your answer but my assumption is the bridge would make both currencies more susceptible to hacking
