“Minima” blockchain partners with WeTransfer service

Digital file sharing service WeTransfer will partner with the Minima blockchain to allow its users to create non-fungible tokens (NFTs) directly from their mobile phones.

According to Wallex and quoted by CoinDesk, Minima is a layer 1, peer-to-peer blockchain optimized for use on mobile phones. Its very lightweight protocol allows users to run full node builders and network validators on their mobile devices. The network hopes to create a truly decentralized network by reducing the requirements for setting up a node.

Minima blockchain uses Minima coin as its native cryptocurrency. This platform is currently in the test network stage and plans to open its main network in March.

The partnership with WeTransfer allows Minima blockchain users to share their digital assets and monetize them effectively.

Hugo Feiler, CEO of Minima, said:

This collaboration will explore the practical use of NFT token technology, something that will not only be of interest to the crypto industry, but also a test case to demonstrate the potential for wider adoption of this innovative digital tool.
