Ripple donates 1 million dollars to earthquake victims in Turkey

The American company Ripple promised to donate one million dollars to the survivors of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. This amount will be used to help several relief organizations active in the Singeh-Syria earthquake.

According to Valx and quoted by Bein Crypto, according to Ripple, $25,000 of this donation will be donated in the form of XRP (equivalent to approximately 654,000 Ripples) to the Crypto for Charity fund.

In addition, Ripple announced that it will double the amount donated by other donors to this charity with a ratio of 2:1 (up to $750,000).

Ripple added that the created charity fund will give its aid to four humanitarian organizations, including CARE, Mercy Corps and the International Rescue Committee.

These institutions help the affected communities in Syria and Turkey by providing aid such as “cash, basic life items, general and women’s hygiene items, etc.”

Part of these funds will be allocated to organizations such as World Central Kitchen to provide essential materials and equipment for field kitchens and help local chefs and restaurants and food trucks to meet the food needs of survivors.
